Scrapper's Challenge
We're bringing back the Scrappers Challenge! Here's the rules: each month, our challenge will feature a scrapbooking supply or craft item that one of the Crafty Neighbors has lying around the house. Our challenge to you is to give us some creative ideas how to use it! Send us your idea in an email along with a high resolution photo or scan of your sample! We'll post the top 10 ideas right here and one lucky participant will win a prize! Challenge entries must be received by the posted deadline to qualify.
May 2008 What you see here is an odd assortment of spool ends
and centers that I've been collecting for the past several months
(I have many more!). I stuck the yard stick in to give you an idea
of the size. The spools came from a lot of different sources. The
large flanged ones came off the rolls of tulle you get at Hobby
Lobby. The small flanged one was (I believe) from a spool of ribbon.
The thick one at the top came from a roll of Scotch tape. The small
ones with little holes around them came from my ATG gun adhesive
rolls. The challenge for this month is to use one or more of these
spools in some creative way. What can you do with them? May 2008 This challenge features some stray scraps of green cardstock
left over from Cindy's Christmas Cards. There's about 75 of them,
measuring 8" x 1.5". Cindy's thinking bookmarks...what could YOU
do with them?
